1977 C&L Marine 36 by Doug Peterson

Electric bluewater cruising yacht designed by Doug Peterson and built by C&L Marine in 1977 with heavy, hand-laid fiberglass construction. Fully encapsulated keel, LaFiell keel-stepped mast, skeg-hung rudder, and cast bronze portlights are some of the features that allow this boat to cross oceans with confidence. This is a shortened version of the Kelly Peterson 44 without the aft stateroom.

The diesel engine was replaced with an Electric Yachts 2.0 auxiliary motor in 2019. No diesel engine maintenance, spare parts, engine oil leaks, engine noise or smell. Fuel tanks have been removed for extra storage. All thru-hulls have been replaced. The engine exhaust and sea water intake holes have been filled in. New stuffing box and cutlass bearing in 2019.
